When Dr Patrick Pugliese bought Floreat Chiropractic in 2015, he brought with him his commitment to personalized care. We ensure that each patient is assessed thoroughly and given treatment that is specific to their needs and results focused.

Our unique functional assessment and diagnostic protocol allows us to find the source of your problem in an efficient manner. We then utilise a number of techniques including adhesion breakdown, dry needling, and shockwave therapy in conjunction with chiropractic adjustments to provide the best results possible. Due to the nature of our treatment we offer longer appointments than many other chiropractors.

We Help Solve Your Problems

To provide his patients with the most up-to-date methods of care, Dr Pugliese travelled to America several times to become certified in adhesion removal. It's a soft-tissue therapy that addresses buildups of scar tissue that affect muscle movement and function. Scar tissue may also grow around the nerve, causing entrapment and pain.

We also offer shockwave therapy, which utilises acoustic waves to address an array of musculoskeletal conditions. When the nerve gets caught, adjustment alone will not relieve the adhesion, nor will rubbing the muscle work. We will come up with a specific plan of measurement, assessment, and manual hands-on care which is necessary to break down the adhesion and relieve the pain and pressure.

In addition, we offer relief for issues such as bulging or herniated discs, and chronic low back pain with dry needling therapy and the flexion distraction table, in addition to quality chiropractic care. Dry needling allows us to release knots that have formed in the muscles, limiting range of motion, flexibility, and function.

The flexion distraction table provides gentle traction in the lower back to decompress the spine, ease chronic pain, and increase circulation to the area to speed healing. Our patients really enjoy the experience!
